Ingredients
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup granulated sugar

8 oz cream cheese, softened

Instructions
Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a standard loaf pan.
Step 2: In a large bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, 1/2 cup softened butter, drained crushed pineapple, and 1/2 cup chopped pecans. Mix until just combined and no dry streaks remain. Be careful not to overmix.
Step 3: Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and spread evenly.
Step 4: Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the bread comes out clean. If the top browns too quickly, you can loosely tent it with aluminum foil.
Step 5: While the bread cools, prepare the frosting. In a medium bowl, beat the 8 oz softened cream cheese, 1/2 cup softened butter, powdered sugar, and 1 tsp ground cinnamon with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy. Ensure all ingredients are at room temperature for a lump-free frosting.
Step 6: Once the bread has cooled completely (this is crucial to prevent the frosting from melting), spread the cinnamon cream cheese frosting generously over the top of the loaf.
