Description

An incredibly simple and fluffy sweet bread made with just melted ice cream and self-rising flour.

Ingredients

Scale

2 cups full-fat ice cream (melted to room temperature)
1.5 cups self-rising flour

Instructions

Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8x4 inch loaf pan.
Step 2: In a large bowl, mix the melted ice cream and self-rising flour until just combined.
Step 3: Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
Step 4: Bake for 40-45 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Step 5: Cool in the pan for 10 minutes before moving to a wire rack.

Notes

Always use full-fat ice cream. Low-fat or air-churned varieties do not have enough fat to keep the bread moist.
