Description
A delightful and easy-to-make iced latte featuring the bold flavor of English breakfast tea, milk, and your preferred sweetener, perfect for a refreshing pick-me-up.
Ingredients
2 English breakfast tea bags (or 2 tbsp loose leaf tea)
1 cup hot water
1 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
2-3 tablespoons sweetener (sugar, honey, maple syrup)
Ice cubes
Optional: pinch of cinnamon or nutmeg, caramel drizzle
Instructions
Step 1: Brew 2 English breakfast tea bags (or 2 tablespoons loose-leaf tea) in 1 cup of hot water for 4-5 minutes to create a strong brew.
Step 2: Remove tea bags or strain loose leaves. Allow the brewed tea to cool completely to room temperature. For faster chilling, place it in the refrigerator for 10 minutes.
Step 3: In a tall glass or pitcher, combine the cooled tea, 1 cup of milk, and 2-3 tablespoons of your preferred sweetener. Stir thoroughly until the sweetener is fully dissolved.
Step 4: Fill your serving glass generously with ice cubes.
Step 5: Pour the tea and milk mixture over the ice.
Step 6: Garnish with a sprinkle of cinnamon, nutmeg, or a drizzle of caramel if desired. Serve immediately and enjoy your refreshing Iced English Tea Latte!
Notes
For an extra layer of flavor, try infusing your tea with a vanilla bean pod while it brews, or add a dash of vanilla extract to the mixture.
