Description
A classic, buttery baked chicken dish with a signature crunchy cracker coating that is incredibly simple to make and always a crowd-pleaser.
Ingredients
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
2 cups Ritz crackers, finely crushed
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp paprika
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional garnish)
Instructions
Step 1: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking dish with non-stick spray.
Step 2: In a shallow bowl, combine the crushed Ritz crackers, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and black pepper for the imperial chicken recipe easy outstanding crust.
Step 3: Place the melted butter in a separate shallow bowl. Pat the chicken breasts dry with a paper towel.
Step 4: Dip each chicken breast into the melted butter, ensuring all sides are well coated.
Step 5: Immediately dredge the chicken in the cracker mixture, pressing firmly so the imperial chicken recipe easy outstanding crust adheres thick and even.
Step 6: Place the coated chicken into the prepared baking dish. If there is any leftover cracker mixture, sprinkle it over the top of the chicken breasts.
Step 7: Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F and the imperial chicken recipe easy outstanding crust is golden brown.
Step 8: Remove from the oven and let rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
Notes
Ensure the crackers are crushed finely but not into a powder for the best texture. Use a wire rack inside the baking sheet if you want the bottom of the crust to be extra crispy.
