Description

These quick and easy wraps feature savory cooked chicken, a creamy garlic cheese mixture, all perfectly toasted in a tortilla for a satisfying meal.


Ingredients

2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced
4 large flour tortillas
4 oz cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
Salt and black pepper to taste
1 tablespoon butter (for grilling wraps)


Instructions

Step 1: In a medium bowl, combine the shredded or diced cooked chicken, softened cream cheese, mozzarella cheese, cheddar cheese, minced garlic, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are well combined.
Step 2: Lay a tortilla flat. Spoon about 1/4 of the chicken and cheese mixture onto the center of the tortilla, spreading it evenly but leaving space around the edges for folding.
Step 3: Fold in the opposite sides of the tortilla over the filling, then roll it up tightly from one end to the other, creating a secure wrap.
Step 4: Heat a large skillet or griddle over medium heat. Add 1/2 tablespoon of butter or a drizzle of olive oil. Once hot, place 2 wraps seam-side down in the pan.
Step 5: Cook for 3-4 minutes per side, or until the tortilla is golden brown and crispy, and the cheese filling is melted and bubbly. Repeat with the remaining wraps.
Step 6: Remove from heat, slice in half if desired, and garnish with fresh chopped parsley. Serve immediately and enjoy your cheesy garlic chicken wraps!

Notes

For an extra kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the chicken mixture. These wraps are fantastic with a side of ranch dressing or a fresh green salad.
