- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped jalapeños
- 1/4 cup cooked bacon, crumbled
- 1/4 cup sliced avocado
- 1/4 cup sliced tomatoes
- Fresh cilantro leaves (optional)
- Lime wedges (optional)
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, egg, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix well and form into patties.
- In another bowl, mix softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar, chopped jalapeños, and crumbled bacon until combined.
- Create a well in the center of each patty and fill with jalapeño popper mixture. Seal the patty around the filling.
- Cook burgers on a preheated grill or skillet over medium heat for 5-7 minutes per side, until cooked through.
- Garnish with sliced avocado, sliced tomatoes, fresh cilantro leaves, and lime wedges if desired. Serve immediately and enjoy!
