Ingredients
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1/2 cup crumbled cooked bacon
2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 cup finely diced jalapeños
2 tubes refrigerated crescent roll dough
1 large egg
Instructions
Step 1: Preheat oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Step 2: Mix cream cheese, cheddar, bacon, chives, garlic powder, and jalapeños in a bowl.
Step 3: Unroll dough, seal perforations, and spread filling over one sheet.
Step 4: Top with second sheet of dough and cut into 1-inch strips.
Step 5: Twist each strip and place on the baking sheet.
Step 6: Brush with egg wash and bake for 12-15 minutes until golden.
Step 7: Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
Use puff pastry for an even lighter texture. Make sure to remove seeds from jalapenos if you want a milder snack.
