Description

This Japanese Mounjaro Recipe is a natural detox drink inspired by centuries-old Japanese wellness traditions. Combining matcha, umeboshi plum, kombu, and ginger, it supports metabolism, digestion, and immune health with every sip.


Ingredients

1 tsp high-quality matcha powder
1 tbsp umeboshi plum paste
1 tsp freshly grated ginger
1 2-inch strip of dried kombu
1 cup hot water (175°F/80°C)
1 tsp raw honey (optional)


Instructions

Step 1: Soak a 2-inch strip of dried kombu in 1 cup of hot water (175°F/80°C) for 3 minutes to release minerals. Remove and discard kombu.
Step 2: Add matcha powder to the kombu water. Whisk briskly with a bamboo whisk or frother until smooth and frothy.
Step 3: Stir in umeboshi plum paste and grated ginger until fully dissolved and combined.
Step 4: If desired, mix in raw honey for a slightly sweet finish. Stir well to combine.
Step 5: Pour into a mug or tea cup and sip slowly to enjoy the full health benefits.

Notes

For optional sweetness, stir in 1 tsp of raw honey for added flavor and a natural energy boost. Adjust Umeboshi: Reduce the amount if you prefer a milder tang. Matcha Tip: Use high-quality ceremonial matcha for the smoothest taste. Chill It: Serve over ice for a refreshing summer detox drink.
