Description

A foolproof, soft, and fluffy white bread recipe specifically designed for use with a KitchenAid stand mixer.


Ingredients

Scale

1.5 cups warm water (110°F)
1 package (2.25 tsp) active dry yeast
1 tbsp honey
2 tbsp melted unsalted butter
1 tsp salt
4 cups bread flour


Instructions

Step 1: Bloom the yeast by combining warm water, honey, and yeast in the KitchenAid bowl for 5-10 minutes.
Step 2: Add melted butter and salt to the bowl.
Step 3: Attach the dough hook and add flour 1 cup at a time on speed 1 until incorporated.
Step 4: Increase to speed 2 and knead for 6 minutes until the dough is smooth and elastic.
Step 5: Let the dough rise in a greased bowl for 1 hour until doubled.
Step 6: Shape into a loaf and place in a 9x5 pan.
Step 7: Rise again for 45 minutes, then bake at 375°F for 30-35 minutes.
