Ingredients
1 box lasagna noodles, boiled
2 lb ground beef
1 pack bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled
1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce
1 tub (15 oz) ricotta cheese
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
Instructions
Step 1: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and boil the lasagna noodles until al dente.
Step 2: In a large skillet, brown the ground beef with salt, pepper, and garlic powder; drain excess fat.
Step 3: Stir the marinara sauce into the cooked beef and simmer for 5 minutes.
Step 4: Spread a layer of meat sauce in a 9x13 inch baking dish, then top with a layer of noodles.
Step 5: Spread half the ricotta, half the crumbled bacon, and more meat sauce over the noodles.
Step 6: Repeat the layers of noodles, ricotta, bacon, and sauce once more.
Step 7: Add a final layer of noodles, the remaining sauce, and cover with mozzarella and reserved bacon.
Step 8: Bake for 25-30 minutes until the cheese is golden and bubbly; let rest for 10 minutes before serving.
Notes
Ensure you drain the beef and bacon thoroughly to avoid a greasy lasagna. Let it rest to ensure clean slices.
