Ingredients
1 lb Italian sausage, ground
1/2 cup pepperoni slices
1/2 cup green bell pepper, diced
1/4 cup red onion, diced
1/2 cup mushrooms, sliced
1 cup sugar-free marinara sauce
1.5 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1 tsp dried oregano
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
Step 1: Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F and place a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
Step 2: Brown the ground Italian sausage in the skillet until no pink remains, breaking it up with a spoon.
Step 3: Add the bell peppers, onions, and mushrooms to the pan and cook for 5 minutes until softened.
Step 4: Drain any excess liquid and stir in the sugar-free marinara sauce and oregano.
Step 5: Top with the mozzarella cheese and pepperoni slices.
Step 6: Bake in the oven for 10 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Optional: Broil for 1-2 minutes for a golden top.
