Instructions

Step 1: Place bacon in a skillet over medium heat and cook until nearly crisp.
Step 2: Drizzle 2 teaspoons of maple syrup over the bacon, flipping to coat until caramelized, then remove from pan.
Step 3: Split and toast English muffins until golden, then spread with butter.
Step 4: Whisk eggs with salt and pepper. Melt remaining butter in the skillet and cook eggs, folding them to fit the muffin size.
Step 5: Place cheddar cheese on the eggs during the last 30 seconds of cooking to melt.
Step 6: Assemble the sandwich by layering the cheesy egg and maple bacon between the muffin halves.
Step 7: Serve warm and enjoy the sweet and savory combination.

Notes
