Description
This Maple Brown Butter Peach Pie combines velvety pie crust, sweet and tangy peach filling, and creamy toppings for a decadent dessert perfect for any occasion.

- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, chilled and cubed
- 3-4 tbsp ice water
- 4 cups sliced peaches
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (for topping)
- 1/4 cup maple syrup (for topping)
- Vanilla ice cream (optional)
- Fresh mint leaves (optional)
Instructions
- In a food processor, combine flour and salt. Add chilled butter and pulse until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Gradually add ice water and pulse until dough comes together. Form into disk, wrap, and refrigerate 30 minutes.
- Roll out dough and press into greased pie dish. Crimp edges and refrigerate until ready.
- In a bowl, combine peaches, brown sugar, maple syrup, cornstarch, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Mix well.
- Pour peach filling into prepared crust.
- In saucepan, melt butter over medium heat until golden brown. Remove from heat and stir in maple syrup.
- Drizzle brown butter topping over peach filling.
- Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 45-50 minutes until crust is golden and filling bubbly.
- Garnish with vanilla ice cream and fresh mint leaves if desired. Serve immediately.
Notes
Chill pie crust before baking for best texture. Serve on a fancy cake stand for impressive presentation.
