A delicious and easy-to-make slider featuring tender chicken, crispy bacon, and a sweet maple glaze on Hawaiian rolls.
Ingredients
12 Hawaiian sweet rolls
2 cups cooked shredded chicken
12 slices cooked crispy bacon
8 slices white cheddar cheese
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
3 tbsp pure maple syrup
1 tbsp Dijon mustard
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp poppy seeds
Instructions
Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
Step 2: Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally and place the bottom half in the dish.
Step 3: Spread the shredded chicken evenly over the rolls, followed by the bacon and cheese slices.
Step 4: Place the roll tops back on and whisk the melted butter, maple syrup, mustard, and garlic powder in a small bowl.
Step 5: Brush the maple mixture over the rolls and sprinkle with poppy seeds.
Step 6: Cover with foil and bake for 15 minutes, then remove foil and bake for 5-10 more minutes until golden.
Notes
Use real maple syrup for the best flavor; avoid using artificial pancake syrup.
