Description

Ingredients

3 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced
1 cup celery, finely chopped
1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
6 slices bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled
1/2 cup slivered almonds, lightly toasted
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup sour cream
2 green onions, thinly sliced
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Optional: 1 tsp Dijon mustard


Instructions

Step 1: In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded cooked chicken, finely chopped celery, shredded sharp cheddar cheese, crumbled crispy bacon, and toasted slivered almonds.
Step 2: In a separate small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sour cream, thinly sliced green onions, salt, and black pepper until well combined. For an extra zing, add 1 teaspoon of Dijon mustard.
Step 3: Pour the dressing over the chicken mixture. Gently fold all the ingredients together until everything is evenly coated.
Step 4: Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 20 minutes to allow the flavors to meld. A longer chill time (1-2 hours) is even better for enhanced taste.
