Description
An ultra-creamy, gourmet version of the classic deviled egg featuring Parmesan, bacon, and fresh herbs.
Ingredients
12 large eggs
1⁄2 cup mayonnaise
1⁄4 cup sour cream
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1 tablespoon white wine vinegar
1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh chives
1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh parsley
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1⁄4 teaspoon salt
1⁄4 teaspoon black pepper
1⁄4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1⁄4 cup crispy bacon bits
1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
Paprika (for garnish)
Additional chives (for garnish)
Instructions
Step 1: Place eggs in a saucepan and cover with an inch of cold water. Bring to a boil, then remove from heat, cover, and let sit for 12 minutes.
Step 2: Transfer eggs to an ice bath for 10 minutes, then peel and slice in half lengthwise.
Step 3: Remove yolks and mash them in a bowl with a fork or sieve until very fine.
Step 4: Mix in mayonnaise, sour cream, mustard, vinegar, lemon juice, and spices until creamy.
Step 5: Fold in Parmesan cheese and chopped herbs until well combined.
Step 6: Pipe the yolk mixture into the egg white cavities and garnish with paprika, bacon, and chives.
Notes
For the smoothest filling, ensure the eggs are fully cooled before mixing the yolks with the dairy ingredients.
