Indulgent individual banana bread loaves featuring a rich caramel swirl and a silky sweet condensed milk glaze.
Ingredients
3 large overripe bananas
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
3/4 cup light brown sugar, packed
1 large egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
1.5 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 cup salted caramel sauce
1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk (for glaze)
1/2 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
Instructions
Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350°F and grease your mini loaf pans thoroughly.
Step 2: In a large bowl, mash the bananas and whisk in the butter, brown sugar, egg, and vanilla.
Step 3: Fold in the flour, baking soda, and salt until just combined.
Step 4: Fill pans halfway, drizzle caramel, add remaining batter, and swirl with a toothpick.
Step 5: Bake for 25-30 minutes, then glaze while still warm using the mixed condensed milk and powdered sugar.
Notes
Ensure bananas are very spotted for maximum sweetness. Do not overbake or the mini loaves will lose their moisture.
