  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup melted butter
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 3-4 fresh bananas, sliced
  • 1 can (20 oz) crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 tub (8 oz) frozen whipped topping, thawed
  • ½ cup chopped peanuts (optional)
  • Maraschino cherries for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, granulated sugar, and melted butter; press firmly into bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish. Refrigerate 30 minutes until set.
  2. Beat softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth; spread evenly over chilled crust.
  3. Layer sliced bananas evenly over cream cheese mixture.
  4. Add drained crushed pineapple in an even layer over bananas.
  5. Spread thawed whipped topping over fruit layers, covering completely.
  6. Sprinkle chopped peanuts on top and arrange maraschino cherries as garnish if desired.
  7. Refrigerate cake at least 6 hours or overnight to set.
  8. Slice and serve chilled.
