Description

An incredibly easy and festive no-bake treat featuring crunchy Rice Krispies, creamy peanut butter, and sweet powdered sugar, perfect for holiday gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale

3 cups Rice Krispies cereal
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

Instructions

Step 1: In a large microwave-safe bowl, melt the unsalted butter. You can also melt it on the stovetop over low heat.
Step 2: Add the creamy peanut butter to the melted butter and stir until well combined and smooth.
Step 3: Gradually mix in the powdered sugar until fully incorporated and the mixture is thick and smooth.
Step 4: Add the Rice Krispies cereal to the peanut butter mixture. Stir gently until the cereal is evenly coated.
Step 5: If the mixture is too sticky, chill it in the refrigerator for 10-15 minutes to make it easier to handle.
Step 6: Lightly grease your hands with butter or cooking spray. Roll the mixture into 1-inch to 1.5-inch balls.
Step 7: Optionally, roll the finished balls in festive sprinkles for a Christmas touch.
Step 8: Place the finished balls on a parchment-lined baking sheet or plate. Refrigerate for at least 15 minutes to set before serving.

Notes

For an extra treat, drizzle with melted white or dark chocolate, or mix in mini chocolate chips before rolling. Ensure your Rice Krispies are gluten-free if catering to that diet.
