Description

This easy Peanut Butter Cup Dump Cake combines rich chocolate cake with creamy peanut butter and melted peanut butter cups for an irresistible, gooey dessert.

Ingredients

Scale

1 (15.25 oz) box chocolate cake mix
1 cup creamy peanut butter
1 cup milk
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup chopped peanut butter cups
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
Optional toppings: whipped cream, additional peanut butter cups, or chocolate syrup

Instructions

Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with non-stick cooking spray or butter.
Step 2: In a large mixing bowl, combine the chocolate cake mix, milk, and melted butter. Stir until just combined; it's okay if there are a few lumps.
Step 3: Gently fold in the creamy peanut butter until evenly distributed throughout the batter. You can leave some swirls for a marbled effect if desired.
Step 4: Pour half of the cake batter into the prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly. Sprinkle the chopped peanut butter cups and chocolate chips over the batter, distributing them evenly.
Step 5: Pour the remaining cake batter over the top of the peanut butter cups and chocolate chips, spreading it gently to cover.
Step 6: Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean or with a few moist crumbs.
Step 7: Allow the dump cake to cool for a few minutes before serving. Serve warm, topped with whipped cream, additional peanut butter cups, or a drizzle of chocolate syrup if desired.

Notes

For an extra indulgent treat, serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a drizzle of warm fudge sauce. Store leftovers in an airtight container for best freshness.
