Description
Flaky crescent rolls filled with a savory mix of shredded chicken, crispy bacon, melted cheddar cheese, and zesty ranch seasoning, perfect for a quick weeknight dinner or appetizer.
Ingredients
One 8-ounce can refrigerated crescent roll dough
2 cups cooked, shredded chicken
8 slices crispy bacon, crumbled
4 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
2 tablespoons ranch seasoning mix
2 tablespoons milk or chicken broth
2 tablespoons melted unsalted butter
Optional: Fresh chopped parsley, for garnish
Instructions
Step 1: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
Step 2: In a medium bowl, combine the cooked shredded chicken, crumbled bacon, softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, ranch seasoning mix, and milk (or chicken broth). Mix well until all ingredients are evenly distributed.
Step 3: Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into 8 triangles. Place about 1-2 tablespoons of the chicken and bacon mixture onto the wide end of each crescent roll triangle.
Step 4: Starting from the wide end, roll up each crescent triangle, tucking in the sides as you go to enclose the filling. Pinch the edges firmly to seal, forming a bomb shape.
Step 5: Place the crescent roll bombs seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the tops of the bombs with melted butter.
Step 6: Bake for 15-18 minutes, or until the crescent rolls are golden brown and puffed. If desired, garnish with fresh chopped parsley before serving. Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
For a spicier kick, add a pinch of cayenne pepper or finely diced jalapeños to the chicken mixture. Using pre-cooked rotisserie chicken makes this recipe even faster!
