Ingredients
1 cup frozen pineapple chunks
1 large ripe banana, preferably frozen and sliced
1/2 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy, e.g., almond, coconut)
1/4 cup water or coconut water (adjust for desired consistency)
1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup (optional, for added sweetness)
Instructions
Step 1: Gather all your ingredients. For best results, ensure your pineapple and banana are frozen.
Step 2: Add the frozen pineapple chunks, frozen banana slices, milk, and water (or coconut water) to a high-speed blender.
Step 3: If desired, add the honey or maple syrup. Secure the blender lid.
Step 4: Blend on high speed until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy. If needed, use a tamper to push down ingredients or add a splash more liquid to help it blend.
Step 5: Pour the smoothie into two glasses and serve immediately. Garnish with a fresh pineapple wedge or banana slice if desired.
Notes
