Description

A delicious, portable breakfast treat featuring fluffy biscuits stuffed with savory sausage, scrambled eggs, and melted cheddar cheese.

Ingredients

Scale

1 can Southern Homestyle Buttermilk Biscuits (8 count)
1½ cups mild cheddar cheese, shredded
1 cup scrambled eggs (about 3 large eggs)
8 precooked sausage links, chopped
¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
1 teaspoon kosher salt

Instructions

Step 1: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Step 2: Scramble the eggs in a non-stick skillet until just set, then remove from heat and let cool slightly.
Step 3: Flatten each biscuit into a 4-inch wide circle using your hands or a rolling pin.
Step 4: Place a small amount of scrambled eggs, chopped sausage, and shredded cheese in the center of each dough circle.
Step 5: Wrap the edges of the dough over the filling and pinch the seams tightly to seal.
Step 6: Place the bombs seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
Step 7: Brush the tops with melted butter and sprinkle with kosher salt.
Step 8: Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm.

Notes

Ensure the sausage is fully cooked before adding to the biscuits. For an extra kick, add a dash of hot sauce to the eggs while scrambling.
