Description
A bold, creamy, and crunchy macaroni salad inspired by Guy Fieri's signature Flavor Town style.
Ingredients
3 cups elbow macaroni
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup sour cream
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
1/2 cup red bell pepper, finely chopped
1/2 cup green bell pepper, finely chopped
1/2 cup red onion, finely chopped
1/2 cup celery, diced
1/4 cup dill pickles, diced
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 cup green onions, sliced
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Step 1: Cook 3 cups of elbow macaroni in salted boiling water until al dente (7-8 minutes). Drain and rinse with cold water.
Step 2: In a small bowl, whisk together 1/2 cup mayonnaise, 1/2 cup sour cream, 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard, 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, and 1 teaspoon smoked paprika.
Step 3: In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooled macaroni with chopped bell peppers, red onion, celery, dill pickles, shredded cheddar, and green onions.
Step 4: Pour the dressing over the mixture and fold gently until the pasta is completely coated.
Step 5: Season with salt and pepper. Refrigerate for at least 2-4 hours before serving to let the savory flavors develop.
Notes
Rinse the pasta thoroughly to remove starch for a cleaner texture. Use full-fat ingredients for the most authentic Guy Fieri flavor.
