Ingredients
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 bottle of Sweet Baby Ray’s BBQ sauce (18 oz)
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Step 1: Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and garlic powder; place in a greased slow cooker.
Step 2: Whisk BBQ sauce, brown sugar, and apple cider vinegar in a bowl.
Step 3: Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
Step 4: Cook on Low for 6-7 hours or High for 3-4 hours until tender.
Step 5: Remove chicken, shred with two forks, and return to the slow cooker.
Step 6: Toss with sauce and serve warm on buns or over rice.
Notes
