Description
A buttery, garlic-infused seafood dish featuring succulent shrimp and flaky salmon served over a bed of fluffy rice.
Ingredients
2 large salmon fillets (approx 1 lb total)
1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 cups long-grain white rice
4 cups chicken broth (for cooking rice)
6 cloves garlic, minced
4 tbsp unsalted butter
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
1/4 cup dry white wine (or chicken stock)
1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
1 tsp paprika
Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
Step 1: Rinse the rice and cook it in the chicken broth until fluffy; keep warm.
Step 2: Season the salmon and shrimp with salt, pepper, and paprika.
Step 3: Heat oil and 1 tbsp butter in a skillet; sear salmon until cooked through and set aside.
Step 4: Sear shrimp in the same pan for 2 minutes per side; set aside.
Step 5: Melt the remaining butter, sauté garlic until fragrant, and deglaze the pan with white wine.
Step 6: Whisk in lemon juice and parsley, then toss the seafood back into the sauce.
Step 7: Serve the garlic seafood over the warm rice immediately.
Notes
Ensure the pan is very hot before adding the fish to get a crispy skin/crust.
