Description
Succulent bone-in pork chops stuffed with a creamy blend of spinach, cream cheese, mozzarella, and Parmesan.
Ingredients
2 large bone-in pork chops (about 1 inch thick)
1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tbsp olive oil
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp garlic powder
Instructions
Step 1: In a medium bowl, combine the chopped spinach, softened cream cheese, mozzarella, and Parmesan cheese until well blended.
Step 2: Use a sharp knife to cut a pocket into the side of each pork chop, stopping near the bone without cutting through.
Step 3: Fill each pocket with the spinach and cheese mixture, then secure the edges with toothpicks.
Step 4: Season both sides of the pork chops with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
Step 5: Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chops for 4 minutes on each side until browned.
Step 6: Place the skillet in a 375°F (190°C) oven for 10-12 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
Step 7: Remove from the oven and let the pork rest for 5 minutes before removing toothpicks and serving.
Notes
Always ensure the cream cheese is fully softened to avoid lumps in the filling. Use thicker chops to prevent the meat from drying out during the baking process.
