Spooktacular Ghost & Pumpkin Halloween Mini Pizzas

Description

Delight your little ghouls and goblins with these fun, easy-to-make mini pizzas shaped like ghosts and pumpkins, perfect for a Halloween party or dinner.


Ingredients

8-12 mini pizza crusts (pre-made or homemade)
1 cup pizza sauce
8 ounces fresh mozzarella cheese, sliced (or pre-sliced mozzarella)
1 small orange bell pepper
Optional: a few black olive slices for ghost eyes/mouths


Instructions

Step 1: Preheat oven according to mini pizza crust package directions, usually around 400°F (200°C).
Step 2: Lay out your mini pizza crusts on a baking sheet. Spread about 1-2 tablespoons of pizza sauce evenly over each crust.
Step 3: Using a small ghost-shaped cookie cutter, cut ghost shapes from the mozzarella slices. If you don't have a cutter, carefully cut ghost shapes with a small knife.
Step 4: Slice the orange bell pepper into thin rounds, then carefully cut small pumpkin shapes or classic jack-o'-lantern faces from the slices.
Step 5: Arrange 1-2 mozzarella ghosts and a few bell pepper pumpkins on top of each sauced pizza crust. If desired, add small black olive pieces for ghost eyes or pumpkin features.
Step 6: Bake for 8-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the crusts are golden brown.
Step 7: Carefully remove from the oven and let cool for a minute or two before serving. Enjoy your spooktacular mini pizzas!

Notes

For extra flavor, you can brush the edges of the crust with a little olive oil before baking. Feel free to use different color bell peppers or other small veggie cut-outs for more variety!
