Description
A fun and easy Halloween treat, these mummy hot dogs are perfect for a frightfully fun movie night!
Ingredients
1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
8 hot dogs
Ketchup or mustard (for eyes)
Instructions
Step 1: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Step 2: Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into 8 triangles.
Step 3: Cut each crescent roll triangle lengthwise into 3-4 thin strips.
Step 4: Starting at one end, wrap a strip of dough around each hot dog, overlapping slightly, to resemble bandages. Leave a small opening for the "face" at one end.
Step 5: Place wrapped hot dogs on an ungreased baking sheet.
Step 6: Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the crescent rolls are golden brown and the hot dogs are heated through.
Step 7: Let cool slightly. Use ketchup or mustard to draw two small "eyes" on the unwrapped portion of each hot dog.
Step 8: Serve immediately and enjoy your spooky mummy hot dogs!
Notes
You can add a slice of cheese before wrapping for cheesy mummies! Serve with your favorite dipping sauces like ketchup, mustard, or even a spooky green relish.
