Description
A luxurious iced coffee beverage blending rich espresso with a velvety mascarpone cream and a hint of cocoa, inspired by the classic Italian dessert.
Ingredients
1 cup strong brewed coffee or espresso, chilled
1/2 cup heavy cream (cold)
1/4 cup mascarpone cheese, softened
2-3 tablespoons powdered sugar (or to taste)
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Ice cubes
1 teaspoon cocoa powder, for dusting
Instructions
Step 1: Brew 1 cup of strong coffee or espresso and let it cool completely. For best results, chill it in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
Step 2: In a medium bowl, combine the cold heavy cream, softened mascarpone cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Beat with an electric mixer or whisk until light, fluffy, and soft peaks form. Be careful not to overmix.
Step 3: Fill two tall glasses with ice cubes.
Step 4: Divide the chilled coffee evenly between the two glasses.
Step 5: Gently spoon or pipe the mascarpone cream mixture over the coffee in each glass. You can create a distinct layer or swirl it in slightly for a marbled effect.
Step 6: Dust the top of each drink generously with cocoa powder. Serve immediately and enjoy your indulgent Tiramisu Iced Coffee!
Notes
For an extra kick, a splash of coffee liqueur (like Kahlúa) can be added to the espresso before layering. Adjust powdered sugar to your sweetness preference. Using good quality espresso or strong cold brew will yield the best flavor.
