Description

A decadent dessert featuring a buttery graham cracker crust, gooey caramel, rich chocolate chips, and crunchy pecans, all baked to perfection.

1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
â…“ cup melted butter
¼ cup granulated sugar
14 oz (400g) sweetened condensed milk
2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
1 ½ cups chopped pecans
1 ½ cups caramel sauce


Instructions

Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Take a 9x13-inch baking dish and set it aside, preparing it for the crust.
Step 2: In a medium bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and granulated sugar. Mix until well combined. Press this mixture firmly and evenly into the bottom of the prepared 9x13-inch baking dish, forming the crust.
Step 3: Pour the entire can of sweetened condensed milk evenly over the graham cracker crust, spreading it to cover the base.
Step 4: First, sprinkle the semisweet chocolate chips evenly over the condensed milk layer. Then, scatter the chopped pecans across the chocolate. Finally, generously drizzle the caramel sauce over all the layers.
Step 5: Place the baking dish in your preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the center is bubbly. Remove from oven and allow the bars to cool completely in the pan before cutting into squares.

Notes

For an extra touch, toast the pecans before adding them to enhance their nutty flavor. A sprinkle of sea salt on top before baking can also beautifully balance the sweetness.
