Description

A light and airy strawberry-flavored dessert dip perfect for Valentine's Day celebrations.

Ingredients

Scale

1 box (15.25 oz) strawberry cake mix (heat-treated)
1 container (8 oz) whipped topping, thawed
1 block (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
2 cups miniature marshmallows
1/4 cup Valentine's Day sprinkles
Optional: Fresh strawberries for garnish

Instructions

Step 1: Heat treat the dry cake mix by microwaving it in a bowl in 30-second increments until it reaches 160°F, then let it cool completely.
Step 2: In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth and creamy.
Step 3: Mix the cooled cake mix into the cream cheese until well combined.
Step 4: Gently fold in the thawed whipped topping until the mixture is pink and uniform.
Step 5: Fold in the miniature marshmallows and half of the sprinkles.
Step 6: Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving. Top with remaining sprinkles and fresh strawberries.

Notes

Always ensure the cake mix is cooled completely after heat-treating so it doesn't melt the whipped topping.
