Instructions
- In a bowl, combine all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt. Mix well.
- In another bowl, whisk softened butter, eggs, milk, and vanilla extract.

- Heat oil in a deep fryer or large skillet to 375°F (190°C).
- Drop spoonfuls of batter into hot oil and fry 2-3 minutes until golden and puffed.
- Drain beignets on paper towel-lined plate.
- While warm, roll beignets in powdered sugar.
