Description

A playful and colorful jiggly drink made with gelatin, fruit juice, and sparkling water, perfect for festive occasions and delighting guests of all ages.

Ingredients

Scale

2 packets (0.3 oz each) berry-flavored gelatin
2 cups boiling water
1 cup cold fruit juice (e.g., cranberry, grape, or apple)
Optional: 2-3 drops food coloring (matching gelatin color)
4 cups sparkling water or lemon-lime soda, chilled

Instructions

Step 1: In a heatproof bowl, combine the berry-flavored gelatin powder with 2 cups of boiling water. Whisk continuously for 2-3 minutes until the gelatin is completely dissolved.
Step 2: Stir in the 1 cup of cold fruit juice and optional food coloring until well combined. If using food coloring, this is where you can deepen the hue.
Step 3: Pour the gelatin mixture into a shallow 9x13 inch pan or multiple individual molds. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until the gelatin is completely set and firm to the touch.
Step 4: Once the gelatin is firm, use a fork or a knife to gently cut and break the gelatin into irregular, jiggly 'slime' pieces. Don't mash it; you want distinct wobbly chunks.
Step 5: Divide the gelatin 'slime' pieces among 4 tall serving glasses. Fill each glass with 1 cup of chilled sparkling water or lemon-lime soda.
Step 6: Serve immediately and watch the 'slime' jiggle and float in the bubbly drink! Enjoy your vibrant Bubble Slime Drinks.

Notes

For a multi-colored drink, prepare different batches of gelatin in various colors/flavors, chill them separately, then combine the 'slime' pieces in the glasses. You can also add fresh berries or gummy worms to the bottom of the glass before adding the 'slime' for extra fun!
