Description
An incredibly moist and easy dessert made with just white cake mix, strawberry filling, and heavy cream in a slow cooker.
Ingredients
1 (15.25-ounce) box white cake mix
1 (21-ounce) can strawberry pie filling
1 cup heavy whipping cream
Instructions
Step 1: Grease the inside of a 6-quart slow cooker or use a liner.
Step 2: Spread the strawberry pie filling across the bottom of the pot.
Step 3: Pour the dry cake mix over the fruit filling in an even layer.
Step 4: Pour the heavy cream over the cake mix without stirring.
Step 5: Cover and cook on High for 2-3 hours until set.
Notes
Do not stir the layers for the best result. Using a paper towel under the lid helps keep the cake from getting soggy.
