Ingredients
1.5 lbs boneless skinless chicken thighs
1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
1 tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp dried oregano
1/2 tsp kosher salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions
Step 1: Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 5 minutes.
Step 2: Pat the chicken thighs completely dry with paper towels to ensure a crispy texture.
Step 3: In a large bowl, combine the oil and all spices to create a seasoned oil blend.
Step 4: Toss the chicken in the spice blend until every piece is evenly and thoroughly coated.
Step 5: Place the thighs in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring they do not overlap.
Step 6: Air fry for 10 minutes, then flip each thigh using tongs.
Step 7: Cook for an additional 5-8 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
Step 8: Remove from the air fryer and let rest for 5 minutes before serving to lock in the juices.
Notes
For extra crispy results, spray a light coating of oil on the chicken halfway through. Always use a thermometer to avoid overcooking.
