Ingredients
1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
2 boxes (200g each) cream of milk (creme de leite)
1 envelope (25g) pineapple juice powder (Tang brand)
100g unsweetened coconut flakes
Instructions
Step 1: In a large mixing bowl, combine the sweetened condensed milk and the two boxes of cream of milk until the mixture is uniform and smooth.
Step 2: Gradually add the pineapple juice powder to the bowl while whisking constantly. The mixture will start to thicken as you stir.
Step 3: Gently fold in the coconut flakes using a spatula, ensuring they are evenly spread throughout the cream.
Step 4: Transfer the mixture into a serving dish or individual bowls and smooth the surface.
Step 5: Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight, to allow the dessert to set and the flavors to meld perfectly.
Notes
Ensure the cream is the Brazilian-style 'creme de leite' for the most authentic texture. If using heavy cream, do not over-whisk to avoid turning it into butter.
