Description

A quick, one-pan meal featuring savory chicken apple sausage, crispy Brussels sprouts, and roasted sweet potatoes.

Ingredients

Scale

12 oz Chicken Apple Sausage, sliced into rounds
1 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
2 large sweet potatoes, peeled and diced into 1/2-inch cubes
1 small red onion, cut into wedges
3 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1 tbsp balsamic glaze (optional for garnish)

Instructions

Step 1: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a large sheet pan with parchment paper or silicone baking mat for easy cleanup of your apple sausage and brussels sprout sheet pan dinner.
Step 2: In a large mixing bowl, combine the halved Brussels sprouts, diced sweet potatoes, and red onion wedges.
Step 3: Drizzle the olive oil over the vegetables and sprinkle with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Toss thoroughly until everything is evenly coated.
Step 4: Spread the vegetable mixture onto the prepared sheet pan in a single layer. Add the sliced chicken apple sausage rounds, nestling them between the vegetables.
Step 5: Place the pan in the oven and roast for 25-30 minutes. Halfway through, use a spatula to toss the ingredients to ensure even browning of the apple sausage and brussels sprout sheet pan dinner.
Step 6: Remove from the oven once the vegetables are tender and the sausage is slightly browned. Drizzle with balsamic glaze if desired and serve your apple sausage and brussels sprout sheet pan dinner immediately.

Notes

Ensure the sweet potatoes are cut small so they finish cooking at the same time as the sprouts.
