Description

An unbelievably addictive snack featuring crunchy Nacho Cheese Doritos stuffed with a creamy, savory bacon and cream cheese filling, then baked to golden perfection. These are the ultimate party appetizer or decadent treat!

Ingredients

Scale

1 block (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
6 slices bacon, cooked crispy and crumbled
1 tbsp fresh chives, finely chopped (optional)
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 bag (9.75 oz) Nacho Cheese Doritos

Instructions

Step 1: In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, crumbled crispy bacon, finely chopped chives (if using), and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated and the mixture is smooth.
Step 2: Gently open the bag of Doritos. Carefully select approximately 48 intact Dorito chips. You will use two chips per stuffed Dorito.
Step 3: Take one Dorito chip. Using a small spoon or butter knife, spread a thin layer of the cream cheese mixture onto one side of the chip. Do not overfill.
Step 4: Place another Dorito chip on top, gently pressing to form a sandwich. Repeat this process with the remaining Doritos and cream cheese filling.
Step 5: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Step 6: Carefully arrange the assembled bacon cream cheese stuffed Doritos in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
Step 7: Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the Doritos are lightly golden brown and the cream cheese filling is warmed through and slightly bubbly. Keep a close eye on them to prevent burning.
Step 8: Remove from the oven and let cool on the baking sheet for 2-3 minutes before serving. This helps the filling set and prevents them from falling apart. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

For best results, ensure your cream cheese is at room temperature for easy mixing. Be gentle when stuffing and handling the Doritos to prevent breakage. These are best served warm, shortly after baking. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator and reheated gently in the oven or air fryer.
