Description

These flavorful wraps combine tender shredded BBQ chicken with a creamy, tangy coleslaw, all tucked into a soft flour tortilla for a quick and satisfying meal.

Ingredients

Scale

2 cups cooked chicken breast, shredded
1/2 cup BBQ sauce
4 large flour tortillas
2 cups coleslaw mix
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
1 tablespoon sugar
Salt and pepper to taste
Optional: 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
Optional: 1/4 cup sliced green onions

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the BBQ Chicken. In a medium bowl, combine the shredded cooked chicken breast with the BBQ sauce. Mix well until the chicken is evenly coated.
Step 2: Make the Coleslaw Dressing. In a separate small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, and sugar until smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Step 3: Combine Coleslaw. Add the coleslaw mix to the dressing and toss gently until thoroughly coated. If using, stir in the optional chopped fresh cilantro and sliced green onions.
Step 4: Assemble the Wraps. Lay out one flour tortilla. Spoon a generous amount of the BBQ chicken mixture down the center. Top with a portion of the prepared coleslaw.
Step 5: Roll the Wraps. Fold in the sides of the tortilla, then tightly roll it up from the bottom, creating a secure wrap. Repeat with the remaining tortillas and fillings. Serve immediately.

Notes

For a spicier kick, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the coleslaw dressing or use a spicy BBQ sauce. These wraps are best enjoyed fresh to prevent the tortillas from getting soggy. For a low-carb option, use large lettuce leaves instead of tortillas.
