Description
An incredibly easy and gooey dessert made with refrigerated cinnamon rolls, apple pie filling, and rich caramel sauce.
Ingredients
2 cans (21 oz each) apple pie filling
2 cans (12.4 oz each) refrigerated cinnamon rolls with icing
1/2 cup caramel sauce
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
1/2 cup chopped pecans (optional)
Instructions
Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350°F and grease a 9x13 baking dish.
Step 2: Pour the apple pie filling into the bottom of the dish and spread it out evenly.
Step 3: Drizzle the caramel sauce over the top of the apple filling.
Step 4: Cut each cinnamon roll into quarters and place them over the apple layer.
Step 5: Drizzle the melted butter over the cinnamon roll pieces and top with pecans if using.
Step 6: Bake for 35-45 minutes until the rolls are golden and the filling is bubbly.
Step 7: Drizzle the icing from the cinnamon roll cans over the warm cake before serving.
Notes
Ensure the cinnamon rolls are cut small to allow the center to bake through properly without the edges burning.
