A lush, no-bake layered dessert featuring graham crackers, cinnamon apples, and a decadent caramel glaze.
Ingredients
1 box (14.4 oz) Honey Graham Crackers
2 packages (3.4 oz each) Instant Vanilla Pudding Mix
3 cups whole milk, cold
1 container (8 oz) whipped topping, thawed
4 large Granny Smith apples, peeled and sliced
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
1/4 cup light brown sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 cup high-quality caramel sauce
1/2 teaspoon sea salt (optional)
Instructions
Step 1: Sauté peeled and sliced apples in butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon for 8-10 minutes until tender. Let cool completely.
Step 2: Whisk together vanilla pudding mix and cold milk for 2 minutes. Fold in the thawed whipped topping.
Step 3: Place a single layer of graham crackers in the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish.
Step 4: Spread half of the pudding mixture over the crackers, then top with half of the cooled cinnamon apples.
Step 5: Add another layer of graham crackers, the remaining pudding, and the remaining apples.
Step 6: Place a final layer of graham crackers on top and spread caramel sauce evenly over the surface.
Step 7: Cover and refrigerate for at least 8 hours or overnight before slicing and serving.
Notes
Ensure apples are completely cold before layering to maintain the stability of the whipped filling.
