Description

A surprisingly delicious and easy-to-make treat combining crispy, salty Pringles with rich, melted chocolate. A perfect balance of sweet and savory!

Ingredients

Scale

1 (5.2 oz) can Original Pringles
12 oz (approx. 2 cups) good quality melting chocolate (dark, milk, or white chocolate chips/wafers)
Optional: 1 tsp coconut oil or shortening (for smoother chocolate)
Optional toppings: flaky sea salt, sprinkles, chopped nuts, crushed pretzels

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare your workspace by lining a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
Step 2: Melt the chocolate. Place chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl and heat in 30-second intervals, stirring after each, until smooth. Alternatively, use a double boiler over simmering water, stirring until fully melted. If desired, stir in 1 teaspoon of coconut oil for a silkier consistency.
Step 3: Carefully dip each Pringle halfway or fully into the melted chocolate. Use a fork or dipping tool to gently lift it, allowing any excess chocolate to drip off.
Step 4: If using toppings, immediately sprinkle them onto the wet chocolate before it sets.
Step 5: Place the dipped Pringles onto the prepared baking sheet. Repeat with the remaining Pringles and chocolate.
Step 6: Transfer the baking sheet to the refrigerator for 15-20 minutes, or until the chocolate is completely firm.
Step 7: Once set, carefully remove the Chocolate Covered Pringles from the parchment paper. Store them in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 week, or in the refrigerator for a firmer snap. Enjoy!

Notes

For the best results, use good quality melting chocolate. Adding a tiny bit of coconut oil or shortening to the melted chocolate can help create a smoother consistency for dipping. Store in an airtight container for optimal freshness.
