- 1 (30-ounce) bag frozen hash browns, thawed
- 1 cup crispy bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup ranch seasoning mix
- 6 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Optional: chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, combine thawed hash browns, crumbled bacon, 1 1/2 cups of cheddar cheese, and ranch seasoning mix. Stir until well combined.
- In another bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, black pepper, and garlic powder.
- Spread the hash brown mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish. Pour the egg mixture over the top, then sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup of cheddar cheese.
- Bake for 45–50 minutes, or until the center is set and the top is golden brown.
- Cool slightly, garnish with chopped green onions if desired, and serve warm.
Notes
To make ahead, assemble the casserole the night before, cover, and refrigerate. Add 10–15 minutes to baking time if baking directly from the fridge. You can also add veggies like peppers or spinach for variation.
