A zesty and velvety tropical smoothie that tastes exactly like a classic Key lime pie.
Ingredients
1/4 cup fresh Key lime juice
1 cup full-fat coconut milk
1/2 cup Greek or coconut yogurt
1 large frozen banana
1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
1/2 teaspoon lime zest
1 tablespoon graham cracker crumbs (optional garnish)
Instructions
Step 1: Zest one lime and juice several Key limes until you have 1/4 cup of juice.
Step 2: Combine coconut milk, yogurt, and lime juice in a high-speed blender.
Step 3: Add the frozen banana chunks and your preferred sweetener.
Step 4: Blend on high until completely smooth and creamy.
Step 5: Taste and adjust sweetness or tartness if necessary.
Step 6: Pour into a glass and garnish with lime zest and graham cracker crumbs.
Notes
For a lower calorie version, use light coconut milk and omit the sweetener.
