A rich and velvety two-layer chocolate fudge topped with crushed candy canes and cool peppermint flavor.
Ingredients
2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
2 cups white chocolate chips
1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk, divided
1 teaspoon peppermint extract
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1/2 cup crushed candy canes
1/8 teaspoon salt
Instructions
Step 1: Line an 8x8 inch square baking pan with parchment paper.
Step 2: Melt semisweet chocolate chips with 1/2 can of condensed milk and salt in the microwave until smooth.
Step 3: Stir in vanilla and spread evenly into the prepared pan. Chill for 10 minutes.
Step 4: Melt white chocolate chips with the remaining condensed milk until smooth.
Step 5: Stir in peppermint extract and pour over the chocolate layer.
Step 6: Sprinkle with crushed candy canes and chill for 3 hours until firm.
Step 7: Lift out using parchment paper and slice into squares.
Notes
Ensure the bottom layer is slightly set before adding the white chocolate to maintain distinct layers.
