Easy Crockpot Ranch Chicken

Description

This incredibly simple and flavorful crockpot ranch chicken recipe combines tender chicken with a creamy, zesty ranch sauce, perfect for a delicious and hassle-free weeknight meal. A family favorite that's versatile and requires minimal effort!

2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs
1 (10.5 oz) can cream of chicken soup
1 (8 oz) block cream cheese, softened
1 (1 oz) packet dry ranch seasoning mix
Salt and black pepper to taste


Instructions

Step 1: Lightly spray the inside of your slow cooker with cooking spray, or use a slow cooker liner. Place the chicken at the bottom.
Step 2: In a medium bowl, whisk together the cream of chicken soup, softened cream cheese, and dry ranch seasoning mix until well combined and smooth.
Step 3: Pour the cream cheese and ranch mixture evenly over the chicken in the slow cooker, ensuring all pieces are coated.
Step 4: Cover and cook on LOW for 6-8 hours or on HIGH for 3-4 hours, or until the chicken is fork-tender and easily shreds (internal temperature should reach 165°F / 74°C).
Step 5: Remove the cooked chicken from the slow cooker and place it on a cutting board. Using two forks, shred the chicken into bite-sized pieces. Return the shredded chicken to the slow cooker and stir it into the creamy sauce until well coated.
Step 6: Taste the crockpot ranch chicken and season with additional salt and pepper if needed. Serve hot with your favorite sides.

Notes

For best results, ensure cream cheese is softened before mixing. You can adjust the amount of ranch seasoning to your taste. This recipe doubles easily for larger gatherings or meal prep.
