Description

Crispy Ritz crackers topped with a creamy, zesty dill pickle and cheese mixture, baked until golden and bubbly. Perfect for parties, game nights, or a unique snack that everyone will love!

Ingredients

Scale

1 sleeve (about 30-35) Ritz crackers
4 oz cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1/4 cup finely chopped dill pickles
1 tablespoon dill pickle juice
1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped (plus extra for garnish)
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Pinch of black pepper

Instructions

Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Step 2: In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded sharp cheddar cheese, finely chopped dill pickles, dill pickle juice, fresh dill, garlic powder, and black pepper. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are well combined and the mixture is smooth.
Step 3: Arrange the Ritz crackers in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
Step 4: Using a small spoon or butter knife, spread about a teaspoon of the dill pickle cheese mixture evenly over each Ritz cracker.
Step 5: Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese mixture is bubbly and slightly golden, and the crackers are crisp.
Step 6: Carefully remove the baking sheet from the oven. Let the dill pickle cheese ritz bites cool for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with extra fresh dill if desired.

Notes

For a spicier kick, add a pinch of cayenne pepper or a dash of hot sauce to the cheese mixture. Ensure your cream cheese is at room temperature for easier mixing and a smoother filling. Serve warm for the best texture and flavor.
