1 (12 oz) container frozen whipped topping (Cool Whip), thawed
3 1/2 cups cold milk
2 (3.4 oz) packages instant vanilla pudding mix

Instructions
Step 1: Finely crush the Oreo cookies in a food processor or by hand. Reserve 1 cup of crushed cookies for the top layer.
Step 2: In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, softened butter, and powdered sugar together until light, fluffy, and smooth.
Step 3: In a separate medium bowl, whisk the cold milk and instant vanilla pudding mix for 2-3 minutes until thickened.
Step 4: Gently fold the thawed whipped topping into the cream cheese mixture until fully combined.
Step 5: Fold the thickened pudding mixture into the cream cheese and whipped topping mixture until smooth and creamy.
Step 6: To assemble, spread half of the remaining crushed Oreos evenly over the bottom of a 9x13 inch pan or large trifle dish.
Step 7: Carefully spread half of the creamy pudding mixture over the Oreo layer.
Step 8: Repeat with another layer of crushed Oreos, followed by the remaining creamy pudding mixture.
Step 9: Sprinkle the reserved 1 cup of crushed Oreos evenly over the top, covering the entire surface.
Step 10: Arrange gummy worms or other candy decorations on top to resemble worms peeking out of dirt.
Step 11: Cover the dish tightly with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight, to allow the cake to set and flavors to meld.
Step 12: Serve chilled and enjoy this delightful dirt cake recipe easy creamy!
Notes
For best results, ensure your cream cheese and butter are at room temperature for a smooth filling. Chilling overnight really helps the flavors meld and the cake set perfectly. You can serve this in a large dish or in individual clear cups for a fun presentation. Feel free to experiment with different instant pudding flavors for a unique twist!
