Description
An exotic and refreshing neon-pink lemonade made with fresh red dragon fruit and zesty lemons.
Ingredients
1 large red-fleshed dragon fruit, peeled and cubed
1 cup fresh lemon juice
1/2 cup simple syrup (or agave/honey)
4 cups filtered water
Ice cubes
Fresh mint and lemon slices for garnish
Instructions
Step 1: Place the dragon fruit cubes into a blender with 1 cup of the water.
Step 2: Blend on high until the fruit is completely smooth and liquefied.
Step 3: Juice the lemons until you have 1 cup of juice and strain to remove seeds.
Step 4: In a large pitcher, combine the dragon fruit puree, lemon juice, and remaining water.
Step 5: Stir in the simple syrup until well combined.
Step 6: Chill for at least one hour or serve immediately over ice with garnishes.
Notes
Use red dragon fruit for the best color results. Sparkling water can be used for a fizzy version.
